Our Story
Founder’s Story
My parents began this journey with a passion for bringing people together through food. Growing up, I watched him blend Italian and Argentine flavors in our family kitchen, creating meals that celebrated his heritage and our family’s roots in Newport Beach and Costa Mesa. Today, I carry on his legacy, working with my family, to honor the traditions that make our food—and our family—special.

ANTIPASTO + PAMPA SKIRT STEAK
If you’ve been dining with us for a while, you’ve probably seen this classic pairing on a few tables. It’s no surprise—this combination has been a favorite since the beginning of Pasta Connection! Start with our fresh and vibrant antipasto salad, topped with our homemade creamy Italian dressing, followed by our warm, freshly baked bread served with our signature chimichurri. Then, savor our perfectly grilled Pampa skirt steak, cooked to perfection for a rich, mouthwatering finish. This meal is sure to satisfy your cravings and leave you looking forward to your next visit!

Crafted from start to finish right in our kitchen, our handmade tortellini are filled with tender, seasoned beef, coated in velvety Alfredo sauce, and topped with just a touch of our hearty meat sauce.
Pesto y Tuco
A true nod to our roots from Argentina, this dish celebrates the timeless flavors passed down through generations of Italian families who made Argentina their home. Our small, homemade ravioli– known in Argentina as ravioles–are crafted in-house and filled with ricotta, and finished with a fragrant basil pesto and a rich, slow-cooked marinara (tuco).
Sándwiches de Miga are a beloved staple of Argentine cuisine, perfect for any occasion.
Made with thin slices of crustless white bread, layered with a variety of fresh fillings such as ham, cheese, eggs, tuna, and vegetables, these delicate sandwiches are known for their soft texture and rich flavor. Originally inspired by European tea sandwiches, particularly from Italy and Spain, they have become a distinct part of Argentina’s gastronomic identity. Whether served at family gatherings, office lunches, or as part of a café snack, sándwiches de miga offer a light yet satisfying taste of Argentine tradition.
